Assam's State Level Police Recruitment Board has officially announced the recruitment of 928 Grade-IV positions for the Assam Police, Assam Commando Battalions, DGCD and CGHG, Assam, and Fire. Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and citizens of India. After the publication of the final select list, selected candidates will need to provide proof of residency.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must be fluent in Assamese or any other State language. 


Age Limit:

Assam Commando Battalions: Candidate age must be between 18 to 25 years as on 1st July 2022.

Assam Police, DGCD & CGHG and F & ES: Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 1st July 2022.

Age Relaxation: The category-by-category age relaxation is as follows. 
 
 5 years for SC, ST (P), and ST (H). 
 3 years for OBC and MOBC.

Candidates must have completed at least Class VIII in a recognized school or institution, and the highest qualification is HSSLC or Class XII in a recognized board or council.

The minimum educational qualification for the post of Safai Karmachari is Class VI.

In terms of height, chest size, and weight, candidates must meet the physical standards listed below.
