Emoluments: Emoluments in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) plus Dearness Allowance thereon are paid to the GDS. The applicable TRCA to different categories are as under:
1. BPM : Rs.12,000 – 29,380/-
2. ABPM/DakSevak : Rs.10,000 – 24,470/-
All approved categories of GDS must have the following minimum educational requirements: The candidate must have passed the secondary school examination of the 10th standard with passing grades in mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) administered by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories in India.
Age Restrictions: As of the last date for application submission, a candidate's age cannot be less than 18 or greater than 40.
Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxations for each category are as follows:
SC/ST : 5 years
OBC: 3 years
PWD: 10 years
PWD-OBC: 13 years
PWD-SC/ST : 15 years
Education: For all approved categories of GDS, candidates must have passed the secondary school examination for the 10th standard with passing grades in mathematics and English (whether they were studied as required or elective subjects).
Local Language Proficiency: The candidate should be at least a 10th-grade level proficient in the local language.
The applicant should be skilled in the following fields, among others.
(i) Knowledge of computer
(ii) Knowledge of cycling
(iii) Adequate means of livelihood

- Female: Nil
- Payment Mode: Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking facility/ UPI and through Head Post offices.
